Help with L.A.S.T.
Skippers agree to take-aboard participants of the
AYC Learn About Sailing Program (L.A.S.T.) during FUN Fleet on-the-water activities. You and your boat will be providing an on-the-water learning experience for participants. Participants will likely change from one event to the next. Thank you for helping!
Member cost - no L.A.S.T. students aboard – $75.00
AYC members sailing with the FUN Fleet, even if you aren't able or interested in helping with AYC's Learn About Sailing Things program. You will provide your own crew for on-the-water events.
Non-member cost - no L.A.S.T. students aboard – $135.00
Non-AYC members sailing with the FUN Fleet, even if you aren't able or interested in helping with AYC's Learn About Sailing Things program. You will provide your own crew for on-the-water events.

The AYC FUN Fleet is a new fleet focused on casual, fun, sailing and improving sailing skills. FUN Fleet sailors will sail at Lake Pleasant, and we may also do some sailing on dinghies at Tempe Town Lake. Activities will run in parallel to the AYC Spring Series racing calendar, with most events at Lake Pleasant on AYC Race Days. This is NOT a racing fleet … but, racing can also be FUN, so we’ll do a few practice races so that skippers are familiar with, and learn about, AYC racing.

Very Important: FUN Fleet boats serve as the on-the-water platform for the new L.A.S.T. sailing education program participants. FUN Fleet skippers should be willing to take aboard L.A.S.T. participants as crew in support of both programs. Boat owners can enroll in both FUN Fleet and L.A.S.T.
