The Women's Race Clinic aims to provide hands-on instruction for women sailors from 9 AM-4PM at Tempe Town Lake on April 1. Sunfish sailboats will be used for teaching basic racing and boat handling techniques.* Participants will receive classroom instruction from women sailors in the morning, and will skipper Sunfish to apply these skills in the afternoon. Instruction topics include boat handling, sail trim, and race management. Sailing experience is necessary to participate, as this clinic is not focused on introduction to sailing. Loaner Sunfish will be provided. Due to limited boats, the clinic will be capped at 15 sailors. Further details will be sent to registrants closer to the clinic date.
*ASU Sailing Team members may use ASU FJs.
